Family friendly vintage guest house in Old Bangkok

If you are after a unique place to stay in Bangkok, this is the place for you. The staff are extremely helpful, nice rooms, originally decorated, which for me is a welcome relief from many hotel rooms, great organic vegetarian breakfast, short walk to ferry service, which is the only way to travel in Bangkok. Highly recommended and great value for money.

It is a lovely place in Bangkok where the poeple in charge are so nice and so helpfull with us. 
The decoration is unique and the small garden so nice. But what is nicer is all the people who do everything to help and inform you.

Everything was perfect, very nice atmosphere, looking forward to another stay at Phranakorn.
We had a problem with the transfer pre-arranged from the airport, but the hotel was very helpful including in solving this.

I must admit the hotel took some finding with the taxi driver circling the block several times, but it was worth it. The rooms are funky and very pleasant. Nothing pretentious, if you want 5 star go elsewhere. But if you want a relaxed, comfortable place to stay with a pleasant atmosphere and good food in a part of Bangkok that is away from the high rise noise and bustle. This is the place. The locality is old Bangkok with streets that cry out for you to walk around them and explore. It is a short walk to the river where you can get the ferries to look at the Royal Palace and, being Bangkok there are temples everywhere. I would go there again any time and certainly recommend the place - unless you usually stay in the Hilton and even then I would say "come and stay at the Phra-Nakorn Norn-Len and have a slow life".

We stayed at PN for three nights and enjoyed our stay there very much. All staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful and made our time rememberable. We stayed at the 3 floor of the guesthouse which was a quiet spot and had the beautiful roof terrace just above us. The rooms are decorated with love and good taste. We felt like sleeping in a room which popped out straight from a interior design magazine and Pippi Long stockings Villa Kunterbunt. 
PN gave us a great relaxed, quiet and peaceful haven within the turbulent big city jungle of Bangkok.
