Great place for familiesby PN guests :) on 03/16/13
The word "quirky" really does describe this place. Rooms and halls are painted with colorful rooster pictures and other scenes--they are fun and lively. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food was only so so. We ate there several evenings because there were few other alternatives within walking distance except street food. Our room was clean, relatively quiet and air conditioned. We were on the first floor at the top of the stairs. There was boiling hot water right outside our door so we bought a couple of cups and some instant coffee packages from 7-11 to make our own coffee whenever we wanted. While we were traveling as an older couple, there were a number of people with smaller children. It appeared they had numerous strollers available for use if needed. You really need the map provided by the hotel at their website to find the place. Our taxi driver was successful, but it is quite difficult to locate with only a tiny sign on a back street.
