A peaceful retreat in an amazing city

by PN guests :) on 01/18/14

Visited with family for 2 nights in December. Usually my mum and I aren't fans of the city but after our first night at Phranakorn Nonlen we immediately wished we'd booked longer. The rooms were comfy and quirky with really nice design touches.

The guesthouse has so much character and the staff are fantastically helpful. Whatever you are planning to do in the city be sure to pop in and chat to the staff at reception before you leave - they have thought of everything and have pre-prepared Thai language cards with the names of tourist sites and directions to the hotel for you to show the taxi drivers. Useful as you will probably need to get taxis into the town for sightseeing.

Breakfast was delicious and the homemade juices were a lovely touch. The staff even sent us off with a little packed breakfast when we left for our early flight in the morning. Just another example of the really personal service that the guesthouse provides. Be sure to pop up to the rooftop bar for a cocktail before you leave. The perfect way to relax after a busy day in the city!

A great base for exploring the city. Would stay again.
