If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Bangkok, or searching for a Bangkok Boutique Hotel, there are so many choices that it may be hard for you to decide among them. If your focus is not big chain hotels, but smaller, charming, vintage, kids friendly or “green” hotels that offer unique decor, delicious breakfast and attentive services, as well as a good value, Phranakorn Nornlen is an option you should consider. We are a small hotel situated within the Old Bangkok district, near the Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Khaosan Road, China Town and the river shuttle stop at Thewet Pier.

An oasis in the middle of busy Bangkok

This is a rare hotel. "Rare" meaning good, special and charming. It's hand decorated, with vintage stuff everywhere. Rooms are big enough, with amazing murals. Beds are comfy queen size. Room, bathroom and hotel were all very clean.

The hotel has this huge hall with a wood house that is simply amazing. Breaksfasts are delicious and organic food. There's a great rooftop terrace too.

The have a massage service that might be more expensive than the average in Bangkok, but I totally recommend it.

Staff is very helpful. They all speak good English (a rare thing in Bangkok!), and they advise you a lot; they care about you not being scammed.

It's well located, in a very quiet area of Bangkok. It was a relief to be in such a quiet area after visiting Bangkok all day. There's a pier just 15 min walking where boats will ride you to Bangkok center.

Staying here might be more expensive than other options, but I think it's worth it. The place is so good, so relaxing, that you won't want to leave it for exploring Bangkok.
